bouderite #002: Diane O.

so, i am a very, very lucky girl, because my mom is one of the most incredible people i've ever met. she's the one who introduced me to Colorado when i was just a wee freshman in college, and she's here to explore it with me {visiting all the way from GA} almost every month. therefore, i'm declaring her an "honorary boulderite" - she deserves it!
Diane is a retired school teacher, dancer, and explorer. when i asked her what she loved about boulder she replied: "oooooohhhh my goodness, courtney, how will i ever sum that up?" so she tried by giving me a list:
1. the scenery 2. the healthy, happy, eco-friendly lifestyle 3. the RTD system! 4. zero humidity 5. bike paths!

her favorite hike is the Royal Arch {below} and her favorite drive is through the Boulder Canyon.
in order of appearance, 1st playing fetch with her "granbabydog" Jayda at Twin Lakes East {off-leash} Park. 2nd, she's taking in the scenery at the Continental Divide, & 3rd, she's somehow picture-perfect at the top of the Royal Arch trail.

  1. I may only be an honorary BOULDERITE, but I am permanently passionate about Boulder. My love affair with Colorado and the Rockies began in 1995, and my focus on Boulder began with the boundless opportunities I discovered in this amazing location. I found so many local and adjacent places to explore, with EZ accessiblility to nearby attractions, parks, OSMP, RMNP, biking / hiking trails, jogging paths, shopping, etc., Whether by car, by bike, on foot, or on the RTD, the feeling of safety and security I felt while exploring on my own as a single, senior female was, and still is, paramnount.
