the flower bin : longmont

all these photos were taken by me (because i am a complete dork, and i fully accept that) but you can click on any shot to hop over to The Flower Bin's website. this place is amazing, in business for over 40 years! i could spend hours sitting in the middle of their flowers. the staff was happy, the light was abundant + the energy was exhilarating.

boulder love: McGuckin's Hardware

when i moved here and had to begin a new life with pretty much nothing to my name, McGuckins saved me! you can literally find anything there. for example, the other day with jayda in one hand, and a rather sorted list in the other, i came out of McGuckins with: shoe laces, an upside-down spray bottle, 3 mini bamboo stalks, a bike rack and a reeses peanut butter cup. life is good when you have McGuckin's. here's a behind the scenes video:

Peanutbutter Song Remix from Justin's Nut Butter on Vimeo.

she's right in tune, these nut butters are fantastic, and they're made right here in Boulder!  Justin's concocted amazing mixtures of almonds, peanuts, and hazelnuts. they're perfectly Boulder born, made with "high quality natural & organic ingredients that are sustainably harvested and found as locally as possible." Loooooove it!

a Boulder bottle

i LOVE the local eco-friendly retailer Vickerey, and these little gems are my favorite water bottles on earth! i love their funky designs. i have the swallows bottle and i swear: it has this amazing power to inspire me to drink more h2O! the amount of water - 20 oz - doesn't feel overwhelming or get too heavy for shorter hikes. they're also incredibly durable. Vickerey says: "[Earthlust Bottles] are made from high quality #304 food grade stainless steel, which is naturally safe unlined. They use non-toxic paints and BPA-free polypropylene #5 recyclable caps."

we're so lucky in Boulder to have water from the tap that is sooooo delicious you can fill up this bottle pretty much anywhere and save the planet from added plastic nonsense!

front range chocolate shop with the best personality?

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, of course! this particular location in Grand Lake, Colorado is my favorite. you can find them all over, but they also have one @ DIA so you can grab a perfect souvenir before leaving Colorado.
